The Tackroom might be 150 years old but it’s been converted to a very high standard so that you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxed stay.
The original construction of brick, flint and slate still exists, as well as the original wood beams. There is a marble entrance to the cottage and the beautiful interior of The Tackroom has been furnished and decorated to reflect today’s modern comforts.
The Tackroom sleeps up to four guests and can be booked together with The Stalls next door with its interconnecting door (blocked when not in use). This is the perfect scenario if you are staying in a larger group and want to be able to have your extended family or friends close by but with your own private space when you need it.
The two-storey accommodation comprises a sitting room and open-plan fully fitted kitchen with large dining table. The sitting room is furnished with a sofa and two arm chairs.
Both of the bedrooms feature skylight windows. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable king-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with twin beds.
On arrival you’ll find a complimentary welcome tray with wine/Prosecco, crisps/peanuts, chocolates, coffee, teas and biscuits. We also leave fruit juices/crisps/snacks for children, and provide a complimentary starter pack of toiletries, bath and hand towels so that you can pack lighter!
We accept pets on request in The Tackroom and provide a doggy welcome pack when you book with your furry family members!
