Please see below what we are doing here at Luccombe Farm Holidays to make your holiday as safe as possible.
We hope the following covers any concerns you may have prior to making a booking or coming to stay with us. If you have any questions, however small, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, either by phone or email.
COVID-19 assurance: If travel is restricted (locally or nationally) or if we are unable to welcome you to Luccombe Farm then we will continue, as we have been doing, to refund all our guests in full.
If you or a member of your party becomes ill then we will be happy to move your booking to a later date (the price may change depending on the new dates chosen).
Indoor heated pool: In July 2020 we re-opened our swimming pool using the pre-booking system. This seems popular and allows you and your family your own space. We have decided to keep it going for now.
Enter the pool placing your white electronic key fob against the receiver plate, until you hear a buzz, then pull the door open. Either outside or inside the entrance lobby you will find a black board (in the winter and/or wet months this may be replaced with paper and pen). Using the chalk provided, write the name of your cottage and the time of your booking.
Please keep your slots to a max. of 1hr. (You are very welcome to re-book later in the day if the pool is empty.) This is to ensure that all our guests can use the pool at least once a day if they wish.
The Sauna and Gym are open. We suggest that you take extra care, by wiping surfaces down with the tissue and products provided.
The Common Play areas: The outside children’s play area, garden games, tennis court, animals and many acres of Dorset countryside are available for you to roam and play freely.
The Gypsy Caravan: If this may be of interest to you please contact us directly. Currently, it isn’t bookable via our website as due to Covid it can only be booked in conjunction with another cottage.
Shopping: Our local farm shop, Steeptonbill, in Milton Abbas stocks a huge range of goods, from fruit and vegetables to meat, cheese, milk and confectionery. Supermarkets also offer deliveries to Luccombe Farm. (Please give them the address/instructions found at the bottom of the Contact Us page.)
Walks: There is an abundance of local walks both on and off the farm. Additionally, there are numerous places where you can just sit in peace, watch and enjoy the wildlife including birds, butterflies and deer and soak up the quiet surroundings.
Thank you for your help and understanding and if you have any questions then please get in touch with us by phone or email.
With best wishes,
Murray, Amanda, Louisa and all of the Luccombe Farm Team
